Job Description:
As a member of our Sub Crews, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems for our clients. Working under the direction of our project managers, you will utilize your expertise in roofing techniques and materials to deliver superior craftsmanship and exceptional service. This is a permanent position with opportunities for consistent work and advancement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roof Installation and Repair: Execute the installation and repair of various types of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, flat roofs, and more. Adhere to industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols to ensure the quality and integrity of the work.
- Material Handling and Preparation: Safely handle and transport roofing materials to job sites. Prepare surfaces, substrates, and materials for installation, ensuring proper alignment, adhesion, and waterproofing.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the Sub Crews and project teams to complete roofing projects efficiently and effectively. Communicate clearly and proactively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues that arise.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks throughout the roofing installation process to verify compliance with specifications and standards. Address any deficiencies or deviations promptly to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety at all times by adhering to company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and mitigate potential hazards on job sites to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with clients and property owners during roofing projects. Address any questions, concerns, or requests promptly and effectively to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction trades.
- Proficiency in a variety of roofing materials and techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification and/or other relevant safety training preferred.
